St Nazaire on 28th March 1942

‘11th August 1943 … the Germans returned some personal possessions they had taken from us when we entered Marlag O. Mine included a pad of paper with the drawings I had done in the period from capture till the time of our separation from the commandos of St Nazaire and our respective dispersals to new camps …’.
