BIANCHINI FERIER – SCARF DESIGNS

These large and very decorative gouache scarf designs were painted between 1940-1970  for the Lyon silk weaving house of Bianchini Ferier by their own (anonymous) in house designers and by some known artists. All come from their Archive Sale at Christies in 2001. All were working  objects and although their condition has been stabilised, some show wear and tear. They are sold unframed and unmounted, but framing can be arranged.
