LIAM O’CONNOR
British Museum World Conservation
and Exhibition Centre Drawings

Liam O’Connor was Artist in Residence at The British Museum from 2010 to 2014, during the construction of the World Conservation and Exhibition Centre. His drawings, prints, photographs and rubbings record the continually changing building site and culminate in his View from the Model Room Window (2010-13), a three and a half year ritual drawing that we exhibited as one of our ‘Weekend Windows’ last year.

Liam is currently artist in residence at the Victoria and Albert Museum where he is making work in response to their Exhibition Road Building Project. We will be taking a selection of the drawings below to the Works on Paper Fair (Science Museum 5th-8th February). Liam’s Studio across the road from the fair at the V&A will be open to visitors on Saturday 7th February.
