Italy; Rome, the Sepulchre of the Curiatii Brothers. Pencil, pen and ink. Provenance: one of a large group of watercolours and drawings by Labruzzi taken from two albums that were compiled by the artist and acquired from his widow in 1818 by Lord Wharncliffe (1776-1845); by family descent to 7th Earl Fitzwilliam; sold from Wentworth Woodhouse in 1948.
